The goal of the project is to contribute to the enhancement of SMEs Competitiveness. It is focusing on strengthening capacities of partner institutions (at the meso level) to provide improved SMEs services, to develop innovation projects, and to contribute to an improved innovation policy.

The German support will include consultancy, further training, and local subsidies towards specific network-partners in order to develop exemplary services and innovation projects as well as procurement of material.

According to the upcoming topics in the international cooperation like sustainable development and climate protection, the focus of the project will be on issues related to energy consumption and the use of renewable energies. Another option to safe energy is the use of renewable energy even for industrial purposes like heating (process heat) and cooling or power generation.

Expected impact

For the current project phase, the aim is: “Selected network partners support an enhanced promotion of innovation and technology for small and medium-sized enterprises through pilot projects”.
